Grateful

• It's nice to be alive
• And in good health
• Got my family and friends - my loved ones - close by
• I'm being productive
• Eating great food
• Enjoying the sights and sounds of this world

And, one of the things I'm most thankful for are tied to this picture:

No, it's not a super-amazing-crazy-artistic shot by any means. It's pretty much just a plain ol' snapshot. But the thing is, the photo was taken on the little boy's first birthday (2008.11.22). And regardless of how technically unimpressive it is, it kicks me every time how genuine his joy and his mom's unadulterated happiness is. And it makes me smile to think that years and years from now, they will stumble upon this picture and his mom and dad will look and say, "Remember when we could hold him in our arms?"

I'm truly humbled and incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to work with the diverse clients that I do. It makes me smile that they enjoy the images that we create together. I really cannot express my appreciation enough, but I will continue to try by continually improving my craft and offering unparalleled service every step of the way.

Being able to follow my dreams? I'm grateful for that.
