My Expensive Hobby

I'm a regular participant on postcrossing.com. The concept is that you register, get an address, send a postcard, and you'll be surprised with a postcard in return. This appeals to me on many levels: (1) I love postcards; (2) I love getting mail; (3) I love cool stamps. The thing is, it's kind of pricey. And I'm pretty much talking about just postage alone, 'cause postcards are DIRT CHEAP.

At least I don't have this hobby AND a cocaine addiction to support. That would be bad.

Since I got my scanner up and running, I'll be scanning and posting the postcards I send out and receive on my Flickr set. Check 'em out!
