My First Album Design

I *heart* album design. The above photos are some pages from my first wedding album ever! When I first started advertising weddings, I offered 200 4"x6" prints as part of the package. But I also knew that I wanted to design albums but didn't want to charge people for it. Yet. So this was my practice, and I thought it turned out well. (I used My Publisher to print it. The page quality was 7/10, book quality was 8/10, but some of the images were too purple'y and it's convenient for me to throw that problem to their court. I did print 200 different 4"x6" images on Smugmug without the purple'y problem, after all.)

With future weddings, I'm offering leather-bound albums with thick, sturdy pages and sharp, crisp images. Sure, they're a little pricier but I would want a high quality product to preserve my most precious memories. But that's just me. (:

I'll get photos from the fancy-schmancy albums up sometime in the near, distant future. (;
