A Year of Weddings & Thanks

Unless anything else comes up (doubtful), it's official that I shot my last wedding of the year on 11/8. It's been an interesting year as I ramp up, or, if you prefer, start my business. I've learned a lot, and through it all, have so many people to thank. Without their support, I highly doubt my success thus far will be possible:

• Friends and family. Thank you for the upbeat comments and encouragement. I really needed to hear "nice shot" every now and then. My fledgling ego is small and still a little easily bruised. It's nice to be able to go back to you for some love and comfort. Well, comfort and referrals. (;
  
• My clients. You're awesome. And beautiful. Thank you for your trust and support. I don't think the photos would turn out well if you didn't relax around me and have confidence in my work.
  
• My namesake and mentor - Chung Chan of Chung Photo - though he'd probably laugh if he heard me call him that.
• The man who sends me out to field on my own as an associate photographer, Sean of Ziba Studio. (Yes, the same one I let down last year.) Thanks for continuing to believe in me.
• Lawrence Ha, for his portrait referrals. He's totally awesome and down-to-earth. And, oh yeah, his photos rock, too.
  
• And to those whose blogs I've gleaned so much information about the business (this will be long): Hey Girl Nice Shot (I can't recommend this blog enough for newbs like myself!), Ben Chrisman, Jasmine Star, Anna Kuperberg, Design Aglow, Becker (and The B School), Mark Kuroda, Fred Egan, Natalie Norton, Jennifer Skog, Jonathan Canlas, Sarah K.
