A Letter to the Universe At Large Regarding My Right Shoe

Dear Universe,

I was at Tao nightclub in Las Vegas with my friends on Sunday, 5/3/2009, dancing the night away like good sinners ought to do. I took off my heels to wear my friend's spare flip-flops. And when I returned to retrieve my heels when we were about to leave, I found only my left shoe.

There really would be no huge problem if, say, the pair were missing. I'd get over it. But that only the right shoe is missing is annoying because no one benefits from this at all unless it was a one-legged woman who took it!

With that said, I would like Left and Right to be reunited. This isn't about true love or finding the one. Bottom-line: THE PAIR BELONG TOGETHER.

Make it happen, Universe. I have faith in you.

Love,
One Shoed Girl

P.S.

  2. another twinsy wtfuckery.

dude, i hate when that happens. seriously. back then, i had this waking dream that every shoe in my closet was missing the other pair. in the middle of the night, like a crazy bitch, i was sleep walking and demanded my mom and dad and siblings return my missing shoe. and i woke up in my bed with a high heel on one foot and a bowling shoe on the other. true story.

the dream was so horrid and vivid that i was pissed off for rest of the whole week.

Then there was this one time at Tryst at the Wynn in Vegas where I was drunk and slipped into the water fountain and lost my right shoe. but that's a different story :-).
